Sorry, I just have to respectfully disagree with that. Fans still go apeshit for those songs. Even newer fans will still go back and dig through their discography.

I've had the completely opposite reaction from people. In my past times seeing them, people went nuts for stuff like Poppin' Champagne, Vegas, Shameless, etc. And when they played deeper cuts in the UK this year at secret shows, that was what I heard the most about from people.

 

Counterparts will open this tour, but that won't be announced until their UK/Euro headliner this fall ends I guess.

 

I mean, they literally stopped playing songs after like three shows because people didn't know them.

Yeah, having seen ATL play Vegas (one of my All Time Faves) in Michigan, I was soooo excited, but you could definitely feel an overall drop in energy in the room during that song.

They're making the right call by only playing a few shows to celebrate it. Makes it even more special.

 

I guess I'm just out of touch? When they did some of those songs a couple years ago, I remember people freaking over them.

 

They were already on another version of the admat I saw floating around.

 

There's a minimum of 5 TSSF is breaking up rumors every year, why would anyone believe it...

Not a tour announcement/rumor, but reading the new Matt Honeycutt (Kublai Khan vocalist) interview with AP at the moment and he said that because of his very bad injury between New Strength and Nomad, Kublai Khan had to drop off of a "large" U.S. tour and an overseas tour. Really makes me think what that large tour was.

 

a TBS/The Dear Hunter date at Starland on December 15 just popped up on Facebook. That a tour or...?

 

Nope. Just the annual holiday show. Day two is with The Maine.

 

Honestly it wouldn't even surprise me if they broke up any time soon.
