I don't ignore you???

 

This album is a gift from Kami. The guitar tones, the lyrics. I feel weird even attempting to play anything else when I am training. I won't be listening to anything else for a while.

 

Folks I'm sitting here eating some pesto pasta and I got some thoughts:

- I've always kinda liked "Bed"

- "In the Water" is a top 5 BN song for me now. Incredible tune. Also since I saw it compared to Pearl Jam I can only hear it in Eddie Vedder's voice. Not mad.

- Posting another user's legal record scores as a 10 out of 10 Drakes on the pettiness scale

- I've always considered "I Was Trying to Describe You to Someone" by Crime In Stereo as a companion record to Daisy. Came out around the same time, gave me similar vibes. Very underrated record/band

Best part of the album is the little whistling at the beginning of Can't Get It Out.

I feel like "Young" in particular fits the vibe

 

What are your guys' thoughts on The Rookie Lot?

I'll definitely go to any west coast show, but if I have the money at the time I'll travel to their final show

 

Probably not their last show but I'll definitely go to Portland, Seattle, and Vancouver if they go to all 3 cities

kinda off topic i haven't posted on here a lot since release but; what do y'all think of theneedledrop's review where he said he doesn't think the bands and Jesse's performance seemed strong or emotional enough? i've seen some people agree but i personally don't.
