Feels like +44 with Skiba.

 

I'm someone who absolutely hated the idea of a Blinkless Tom last year. I wasn't having any of it especially with someone I wasn't as familiar with in Matt Skiba. I spent the last year listening to Alkaline Trio which I enjoy now. I'm happy that Tom's happy, and is okay with the other two being happy in Blink. I hope one day he plays with them again in a few years.

With that said, I loved the song a lot more than j was expecting. Good song.

I like this a whole bunch. Travis absolutely wrecking face as usual.

e: on second listen this is very +44ish, which I can definitely get on board with.

 

I like it, the chorus is huge. I was expecting this to be pretty bad so I'm pleasantly surprised.

Left class to go listen. It was alright, doesn't top how I felt about "Up All Night" when it was first played. Major +44 vibes which is okay, I suppose.

 

Damn, those openers. So stoked I got tickets for this.

 

It's not a dig. It's just a style of pop punk that doesnt appeal to me, but that doesn't mean others can't fully enjoy it.

I absolutely love it, as I thought I would. But I really feel like Travis' drums needed more punch. He's way behind everything that's happening on the mix. It's Travis Barker, he needs to be loud and in your face.

 

Guess I'm not closing that window for the rest of work.
