Totally from last year. I remember posting it on fb and talking about how much the album still means so much to me. Did they revise or add to it or maybe they are simply trying to cash in on all the hype and attention this album is generating. Weird.

Came here to say I love this album, see nostalgia over old AP personalities instead of album discussion. It's just like the old Brand New threads I lurked and felt way too intimidated to post in! It's funny that I've had a total of maybe 50 posts on here and AP combined but I lurked long enough to recognize most of those names.

Anyway, this album is super fucking good.

Yeah, nothing is topping this for my AOTY.

Also, this part of "Waste" just clicked and hit me particularly hard:

"I'm hoping that in time you can lay down
All this weight you've been carrying around
    And maybe one day
    You'll find your way
To climb on up out of your grave
With the bits of you you've managed to save"

Don't feel intimidated! Just dive in. (This is coming from someone who was also intimidated to jump in back in the TDAG days on AP.net and eventually got over it.)

Yeah don't be intimidated to post here. Everyone here seems to be good people, unlike the most of AP toward the last few years.

There was definitely an arrogant old guard on AP that I don't see when I browse Chorus. I appreciate that, makes it a lot easier for me to feel comfortable posting. But I do miss reading the extremely awful takes from guys like kidinthebushes and seeing them get ripped to shreds, that was cathartic lol.

Yeah, I listened to TDAG yesterday and was just like....damn. It's already one of my favorite albums of all time but it's cool to go back and listen with the full picture in mind.

Daisy is similar. you hear the americana/bluesy vibe in some songs that didnt get fully realized until in the water/451

@CoffeeEyes17 talking about a dark humor lyric

"I'll never have to lose my baby in the crowd, I should be laughing right now"

That one fucks me up so bad, when I saw them at ommegang he just sang that whole section on repeat over and over again.
