haha my favorite posts from android or samsung snobs are "great job iphone samsung had this 3 years ago" and i always reply "yes, and now it's better."

 

Samsung just puts half working features for the sake of having features and being first.

 

Yeah. But I think what pisses off people is Apple has gotten the reputation of innovating all these feature while most things that Apple does is find something in the market that may already out there but not that functional and make it work well.

 

Anyone have any luck with a usb-c to ethernet adapter? I got the Belkin one from Apple and it came not working right out of the box. it has horrible reviews as well so I'm not really interested in replacing it with the exact same thing.

 

I need a new iPhone, mine has battery and charging issues. I want to wait for the 8 but not sure if I can wait until, what, January for supply to meet demand?

 

just pre-order it as soon as you can. 7+ demand got filled pretty quickly. I ordered it mid september and was told to not expect it until around thanksgiving and i got it 3 weeks later lol, a lot of people i knew had the same experience. i think the phones get rushed out a lot quicker than other products, mostly because they're gonna wanna see good 4th Q sales and be able to fill holiday demand.

 

Glad September is almost upon us, FINALLY. Dropped my phone at work the other day (was already cracked in a couple spots because I'm holding out for a new one) and shattered the damn thing. Still usable for the time being, but I am SO glad it's almost time for the Keynote. I've never been so excited to see a new iPhone.

 

I still have the urge to keep using the iphone 6 until it becomes an inconvenience to my daily life.. Still hasn't given me any problems using ios10

 

Any other Apple Music subscribers having this error message come up recently? I'm currently subscribed to Apple Music, so I shouldn't need iTunes Match anymore to listen to music I added to my iCloud Music Library from other sources.

 

That was always my biggest frustration with Android and Windows Phone - you are the beta tester. You watch the keynote and all this stuff feels like it is from the future and then they ship a half-baked product and expect the consumer to work out the bugs.

Early days of Windows 10 and Windows Phone were like that - the Lumia 950 (Windows 10 Mobile) was a beta product (of course they charged full flagship price for it).

Android Wear is over three years old now I believe and it still feels like a beta. Just try setting up an Android Wear device and an Apple Watch - the Apple one just works. Prior to switching back to Apple I spent 3 hours trying every trick to get Google Fit to show up on my Android Wear device - finally it just magically appeared overnight. That's they type of crap that would be unacceptable on an Apple device.

Don't even get me started on Android apps on Cromebooks - and year and a half after that magical announcement and it's still beta. The Samsung Chromebook Plus / Pro looked so promising and were complete failures because the android apps (the main reason to pay extra) were buggy as hell.

Younger me liked to tinker and work out problems on devices - that's why I was usually a Nexus user. But these days I just want my shit to work as advertised. I'll gladly pay the apple tax to not have that frustration.

 

My 2008 MacBook is finally on it's last legs. This thing has been a tank for me, really happy that it lasted this long. Time to start saving my pennies for a 13" MacBook Pro (no touchbar).

 

Man, I'm not having this exact error pop up but my macbook just started having something similar that says I need either itunes match or apple music account to listen to my local files I've uploaded to itunes music library. I just spend over 4 hours on the phone before they decided to send the issue to engineering. Now I've got to wait until at least monday before we figure out what's going on...

 

It is unbelievable that we’re on iOS 11 and there still isn’t a version of iTunes that’s even kind of acceptable. It’s just such hot garbage.

 

I use iTunes every single day to listen to all of my music. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

anyone have any idea why iTunes wouldn't push an album to the cloud? downloaded the new turnover from bandcamp and it doesn't show on other devices. it's iCloud status is stuck on waiting and if i hit add to iCloud music library it says the iTunes store doesn't recognize my library?

 

Should have been more clear. iPhone version of the iTunes Store is what I meant. Desktop version is good.

 

Try File > Library > Update ?

 

Then it says genius results can't be updated because iTunes Store doesn't recognize the library, and then prompts me to turn genius off and on through a series of clicks that doesn't exist...

 

Weird. Usually logging out and back in has worked for me then.

 

im having a problem where neither my iphone or my wifes iphone will show up in our itunes when we plug our phones in. its like it isnt recognizing our devices. i just updated my itunes today, i wasnt having issues before that.

can someone please help me if you know how to fix this??? i feel like im on my last straw with apple haha

 

seems to be working for turnover (though not other older ones), 2 songs have appeared. hopefully time yields the rest, thanks!

 

I've had that problem. Usually restarting the computer works. Also I had a cable go bad that it would charge my phone but it would have trouble transferring data.

Also you could just do a factory reset on everything.

 

I reset my computer, didn't change anything. It isn't the cord, the computer recognizes my phone and my phone is charging. The device just won't come up on iTunes.

I don't understand apple products, it seems like this is a probably a lot of people have, but there is no easy fix??? Is a factory reset really the only option I have?
