I just wanted to say how happy I am that Jesse doesn't use the same vocal delivery he used on the prime version of Nobody Moves on this record. I think he has been singing live in that same manner and I was never a big fan of it.

Discovered Brand New on Fuse in the early '00s, Middle School. They didn't become anything special to me until '06.

I remember buying YFW on CD when it was released what feels like 20 years ago. I know what you mean about feeling old.

i think summer 09 is when i started coming around, i remember the stream of gaia bleeds being one of the first news articles i saw.

 

This record front to back just never let's up. What a wonderful surprise. I'm so happy every time I listen to it.

I don't understand how some people find this album too slow. There are plenty of big moments.

It seems some people are sharing their Brand New origin story.

It was like March 2003 and I was posting an insane amount on AP. A random users signature had the line, "I hope the next boy that you kiss has something terribly contagious on his lips". I saw it, googled it and figured out what it was from and immediately went to Target and bought Your Favorite Weapon.
