im with ya on liking GP though it gets shit from other DG fans but i think its p rad.

 

anyway I think Same Logic/Teeth is now part of my soul.

I think this album is so open-hearted for a band that has lurked in the shadows for so long now.

 

Thanks to this thread, I am now listening to The Appleseed Cast's Sagarmatha as I go to sleep and it is a great decision

 

this one is underrated.

For sure. I think it's right up there with the Low Level Owl albums, Two Conversations, and Illumination Ritual.

 

The Appleseed Cast are good

(Note: I have only heard "Fight Song" but that is definitely in my Top 20 songs of all-time)

I forget who they go, but the guy they had from Mare Vitalis to Two Conversations and the guy they had on Illumination Ritual (and I'm guessing still do) are absolutely amazing drummers.

I mean real talk though this album does have that special "this will define my year" kind of quality to it. its probably going to be an album i think about A LOT and, much like Daisy/TDAG/FOYD/Deja before it, will be an album that ill spend hours babbling about to my friends irl who dont really care about music

 

you and @jordalsh and @Zac Djamoos have been trying to get me into them for like a year now and i keep forgetting. where should i start?

 

there are a lot of routes you can go. Two Conversations is very Moving Mountains. I think Illumination Ritual does a good job of summing up their career though. Peregrine is my other favorite along with those two but it's rather dense

 

I def didnt miss much here eh. I did read that post and wish there was more like it in here. Gee golly is it too much to ask to discuss this masterpiece instead of wtv else this thread is now.

Edit: now that i caught up post-rock talk is better than pop punk and Good Charlotte talk at least
