I'm sure this was already mentioned, but I find this album to be more back-heavy. Out Of Mana, In The Water, 451, and Batter Up are such incredible songs. I certainly at least like every song on the front half, but Lit Me Up and 137 are the only two that have really grabbed me so far after five or so listens.

    But I hope
If I understood him right I think he's saying there's better songs on the album that are worth the hype more.

The longer the home run the cooler it is to see.

I do apologize. I read "the one band" and not "one band". With that said, I think you should check out those albums cause to be honest you're doing yourself a disservice if EITS are the only instrumental band you like. You might like what people have suggested now that you've gotten your feet wet.

I agree with you. The back half of the album is amazing! No Control is my least favorite on the album but the back half is overall the better half, and has some of their best songs ever written.

No need to apologize, with all my weird opinions in here and never getting my actual point across, I understand why you would think I said that.

I think my opinions get lost in my head and the meaning gets lost from when I think of it to when I post about it haha.

I have saved your suggestions as well as the other users suggestions and will check out sometime after I stop playing BN 24/7 haha

The Seer and Choirs of the Eye are my two favorite post rock albums but people often don't consider them post rock.

Ironically most of my all time favorite bands have released bad songs over the years haha

you're literally posting names of bands in a thread about a different band. at this point, what's the point?

idk if youve ventured out to the other threads but we have a National thread for the new album so there'll be a lot of good discussion going on over there once that album drops. feel free to pop in of course.

yeah even their debut i think has some decent to good songs and nothing ive ever heard from them has ever been "bad"

2 songs each containing 3 numbers on the album

Brand New have released 6 albums if we count the demos

    Demos rhymes with Bimbos

You know I'd probably be a lot nicer and get off to a better start in new threads but honestly the only reason I joined here was because of Brand New.

We shall see though. It'd hard to regularly keep up with multiple forums and I'm already super active on two of them.

None of them have in depth Brand new discussions though, so this thread is nice and you guys are lovely people even if I went over my head a couple times.

I just need to learn to be less opininated. I think I'm very opinionated on the Internet because of my lack of opinions in real life

I think at this point this album is very easily one of the best albums that were released after a long break (let's say 5+ years). It's one of the only ones off the top of my head that either lived up to or exceeded expectations

Still in the process of catching up on this thread lol but holy shit I finally just got some weed and put this on and there's so many little nuances here. This thing might be better than TDAG with time and I didn't even think I was going to like the album at all. IAAN was not a good sign as to the direction they were headed, as others have said it's a good song, just not the kind of music I really wanted from them at this point in their career. It's just so fucking amazing that I'm sitting here listening to ANOTHER Brand New album much less one that's this fucking gnarly and raw.

Question: what is the difference between the limited vinyl on the official website for 45 and other websites that have the red and blue vinyl for 28?

We don't know what the difference is yet.
