So Luca or Luca (Reprise)?

Since I seem to be hipster on every opinion, just curious if people agree with me that Luca is better than Reprise

 

Also, I only listened to one song on Tidal Wave, but I just know the rest is bad.

 

But seriously, IAAN is not that good and I am so glad the band realized an album full of songs like that would've been really awful

It's basically the same thing. Like Failure By Design really was them writing a Good Charlotte song

 

Idk it started off slow talking about some daughters on a slippery slope and then all of a sudden there was this head on a silver plate and I went back to jamming YFW.

Still convinced it was because Jesse Lacey was listening to old REM and wanted to make something like that. Then he released that R.E.M. cover 7" and got it out of his system.

 

Luca Reprise doesn't have the bomb so it therefore is the weaker version.

 

Sometimes fun is good. Not every song had to be complex to be good.

It's super catchy too so that helps.

 

who said fun cant be good? IAAN doesnt speak for every "fun" song in existence.

Well it's all generic pop punk and they were good friends with them. And they legit wrote Failure By Design to be their version of a GC song

 

I never said the album was good. But the title track is great

Not traditionally. There are always exceptions. I don't think it really works in this case.

 

Bed is a great track. The live studio version is better. Maybe give that version a try if you haven't already @fenway89
