Other news, I got a free ticket to an advance screening of It but I'm not sure if it'll conflict w/ my work schedule

 

FWIW i will pay* one of you to bring me some wings

*the only currency I dabble in is bitcoin

 

im constantly jealous of all the advance screenings you attend haha

 

Go see it so I can determine whether to go see it theaters or wait till Redbox/steaming.

 

I just saw it, it's definitely weird and will take time to get used to. I'm excited to catch a game for either team there this year (hopefully)

I don't know shit about horror films, but there's a ton of hype around this. Like it could be the #2 horror movie of the year behind Get Out or some shit

 

hell yeah. that squad that won the ring is my favorite sports team ever. Rasheed Wallace is also my favorite basketball player ever.

 

I just want a pre-screening to Kingsman. Or Blade Runner. Or The Last Jedi. Or Black Panther. Or the next three Pixar films

 

yeah me too, I hope tickets aren't crazy expensive. i was at the home opener for the wings last year, probably won't be able to swing it this year

I still feel iffy on Blade Runner, only because the original is one of my personal all time favorite films and I'm worried the movie will end up not being so great.

 

They were just so damn fun to watch and hilarious off the court to. Sheed was incredible haha

I think they'll go down later in the year when both teams start showing that they aren't very good haha

 

The original was huge and this remake is supposed to be just as good. One of the producers has worked on the ring , the strangers, the grudge and those are all well made. I'm a Stephen King Stan and I'll be sad if it sucks.

 

I'm predicting it'll at least be solid enough to be worth existing. Like, I can't imagine you enjoying the original less after seeing 2049

The new It clown blows the original out of the water for me. I get chill bumps just thinking about it.

 

Everything about The Golden Circle makes me think this one will be bigger and more extreme than the first. Doing my best not to get my hopes up if it's not better. Like, I don't need it to be movie of the year. I don't need Julianne Moore to outdo Sam Jackson as the villain. I don't even need to those rumored four (!) action scenes to be true. Like, if I enjoy this more than, say, X-Men: First Class, I'll be satisfied. I just want another awesome time at the movies, and hopefully that'll happen again
