I remember "At The Bottom" played on Internet radio first, then we got a rip but it had some skips in it because 2009 Internet radio is hilarious, then we were trying to figure out the lyrics despite that problem, then the non-skips version came out, then nobody could figure out the bridge still anyway bc wtf is he saying?!??

I imagine they knew they had the song "Daisy" at the time.

 

Fair enough. Though tbh that song title doesn't scream "Daisy" to me. I guess it's the seeds and roots and grass lyrics?

I've always felt that their title references are usually a bit more obvious. What's HAL singing "Daisy" have to do with that song to you?
