Brand new always excels at Album Art

 

You think it's a nod to Modest Mouse because he uses the words "float on" in the song?

 

But Noro is a top 2 song on Daisy

 

Every line is a secret reference to something else, come on now.

 

That's not even Brand New's first use of "float on" they say it in You Won't Know too.

 

Can confirm this I was there, and was talking to my friends about this, this weekend. You can hear some Pearl Jam in this new stuff which is really cool

 

It might not be a direct nod, but man I feel like if you had Isaac sing on this record it would sound identical to a Modest Mouse album in a lot of places.

 

I think it's their second best following TDAG. It reminded of the movie Chronicle the first time I saw it

 

I can def see can't get it out being one of the new songs they will play live

 

Cuz it's been talked about to death. I'd rather read a conversation unrelated to the topic than read about an album that's been discussed for 20+ threads on AP and now since this website started. I saw this album art photo more than 5 years ago and I love it.
As for music, it's my AOTY so far, so good.
