I urge everyone to join me in the anti-Facebook revolution. Delete it, you don't need it. Not trying to go all conspiracy theorist (although I guess this is the proper thread) but Facebook is straight up evil, I swear. Most people tell me they use it to stay "connected" to their family and I have some choice words for you. 1. You don't love your family. If ya did, you'd give 'em a phone call every once in awhile if you really wanted to stay connected. 2. Facebook didn't always exist, ya don't need it to stay connected.

 

exactly, I got by just fine in the 17 years before I had one and have been great in the almost year since I've deleted it. I think there's something weird about like nostaligia or something on there too. It's like people can't move on with their lives due to trying to impress people on this website, it's really weird

 

I mainly use Facebook these days for the events. Don't really communicate with it at all

 

Like I can understand the ability to stay connected and informed but that place is a cesspool. A virtual keeping up with the Joneses.
