I just re-read their Rolling Stone interview about Tom quitting the band last year. It's such a hard thing to read, I still think they're better off without him. I'm really happy with what this new era promises to start tomorrow.

 

I mean did we think that they'd just give up releasing images just because it leaked? The casual fans don't know the full image leaked.

 

I have that open in a tab on my phone. It's been there since January. Partly because I couldn't believe it for the longest time. Just crazy how it all went down

 

It really makes no sense at all, how careless and disrespectful he was with the whole thing. I do hope we get some songs directed at him, fuck it. That's what music is about sometimes, letting the anger/resentment out.

Yeah, i'll talk big about how i'll only listen once, but by the time i'm done i know i'm hitting play again and again and again. I'm only so strong.

 

That's my worry too. I'll play it more than three times, but I don't want to overplay it before the record's even out

 

Depends how long we have to wait until the album. But I'm usually pretty good at restraining myself. I've killed songs in the past and I always ended up skipping them on album listens because of that.

 

I'm going to play the absolute shit out of it.
