    ok

Lived in Miami my whole life (looking to move to the Northeast this year tho).

I have a big 'ol love hate relationship with this place. I can't stand the heat and humidity, the general attitude of most of the people, and the fact that we miss out on soooo many good bands. BUT I love that I can find Cuban food everywhere (much love for all other Latin/Hispanic places too) and Publix, of course. Nothing tops Cuban food + Publix.

Ha right? I woke up at 8 to let the dogs thinking damn today's gonna suck, went back to sleep, got up at 10 to start my day and was like...alrighty then.

I love love love going to La Teresita for their toasted cuban bread. Mmmmmm. And I JUST finished eating a Publix sub. So good.

I absolutely refuse to drive in Miami bc of how dumb people drive there. If I'm ever down there on a gig I always request to be put up walking distance to the venue.

    Full Sail?

I lived on Goldenrod between University and Colonial. I haaaaated Colonial if I wanted to go downtown haha.

I know for sure that if there's a show in Miami, unless I really really want to see them live, I will wait until they have either a Fort Lauderdale or Orlando show because fuck Miami traffic. (Although, I thought driving to the Fillmore was relatively painless but American Airlines Arena was terrifying.)

I lived in Florida my whole life. Currently in school in Gainesville but I'm about to be done with that. I still have grad school to do but I've being thinking more lately about whether or not I want to leave the state eventually.

I would love to leave this state, but the question is, where would I go? There's so many options.

I'll add to the Miami hate.

I often think of moving back to Tampa, not gonna lie. Great place to live.

Tampa/St. Pete combo is pretty sweet. I live on the Tampa side but am always across the bay in downtown St. Pete. And as @Lockeskidney mentioned, water access is pretty awesome. It's about time to start heading out on my buddy's boat to the sandbars and fishing.

Yeah. I grew up just north of MacDill in south Tampa, then moved out to Valrico when I was 12. I miss the beaches for sure. None of my friends really had boats, though. Always wished I could've spent more time on them.

One thing I like about living in Palm Beach is that there are Cuban bakeries and restaurants everywhere.

I'm graduating from UF on Sunday, and I kind of dread going back to Miami and dealing with its traffic and people, but hey Hispanic food.

There was some walk-up Cuban restaurant that was open for 24 hours in Palm Beach. That was some awesome late night food. @windowbirds

That's Havana! I've been there many times and yes the food is excellent. There is a reason it's been voted the best Cuban food in Palm Beach County. Right now, they're doing renovations so parking is still a bitch when it gets busy.

There is a smaller Cuban bakery that's closer to me, but the food is just as good.

Ahhh, I walked there at like 3am from my cousins house. He plays in a local band there called Raggy Monster. He took us to some diner down the street from there that's across from the skatepark that was fucking delicious. It was some old diner that's been there since like the 60's...so good.

    And that's Howley's. lmao

I went there with my brother last night for a midnight snack. I wanted their key lime pie but they were out so I had their peanut butter pie. But yes, their food is delicious is as well.

Haha, you must live super close to my cousin. Howley's was SO good. I had this:

Brady's Brisket Patata Burrito slow-roasted brisket, black beans, mashed potatoes, salsa & cheddar cheese. smothered w/ monterey jack cheese & topped with a fried egg & jalapenos

Honestly, the drives to both places takes me via 95 at least 30 minutes because my neighborhood borders Boynton Beach. I'm such a lazy homebody that places that constitute more than a 20 minute drive is a bit far for me.

My favorite is the French dip with sweet potato fries.

Lived in Deerfield Beach until I was 19. I miss more than anything the amount of Cuban options. Also the thunderstorms.
