One of my good friends has lived in Australia for the last ten years or so and she's adopted the accent and it's so interesting

 

I want a New Zealand accent tho tbh

 

If I had to choose one accent to maintain, it'd be a proper English accent. I found out recently that the man who started my family was from England, his name is Issac Phillips.

 

I'm Mexican/Dutch which is very odd. I desperately want to go to the Netherlands but my ex who is also Dutch lives there and I can't help but associate it with her

 

But she's like actually Dutch and speak the language and stuff. My family is Dutch but we don't carrry any of the traditions

 

A large chunk of my heritage is Irish but I tend to focus on my English and German roots. At least I have cool dark auburn hair when it's natural.

 

Have you been to Europe? That's my plan after I finish school

 

No sadly. My mom's cousin lives in Newcastle and told me I'm always welcome to stay and visit, I need to take up that offer.

 

Do it man. Having family ties to Europe is so beneficial. That's like half the cost I feel

 

I have distant family in Holland but I've never been. One day tho.

 

One of my coworkers at work is a kid from Newcastle, good guy, Even if he likes Manchester United like a horrible person.

 

I'm not a football or sports fan but I've been to a San Jose Earthquakes game and that was fun

 

Newcastle United is my Premier team and I'll wear that hat until I die.
