Believe me, I see that more and more every time it comes up in discussion. I don't think I'll ever completely eschew making some sort EOTY reflection, because I do enjoy having something to share around the forums or even give to family and friends to represent my tastes, but my ranking days are certainly numbered.

 

So I lucked out and received one of the 500 cds. Extremely lucky.

 

If anyone gets one of the 500 CDs and doesn't want it, or you get two, please consider me as a benefactor of your luck.

I was a 12:01 order on Tuesday, but it's looking to just be random.

 

100% random.... I ordered at 12:01 and my wife who wasn't sure if I was able to order one because I was at work also ordered one around 12:20. It was hers that was ordered at 12:20 that we received the CD for.

 

Did yours ever show up on My USPS?

 

So I created a MyUSPS account in my name, but nothing ever showed up. I assume it doesn't show all the mail coming to my address though, because the package was in my wife's name. I didn't create an account using her information.

 

Made random eye contact with my dog at the "stuck like glue" line in waste and I just choked up.

But I did manage to come across a pair of solar eclipse glasses so at least there's that

 

When it gets calm and they sing "This is the same logic that got us into trouble the first time," I get super tense. Such a good spot. Few others stand out too that feel like staple moments in Brand New music.

 

I'm wondering if it's referring to drug use, or using people, or both.

 

A chilly 102 here in SoCal and I'm loving it as well.

 

Fuck Same Logic is soooooo goood. Current fave of the moment.

 

Also the opener and the closer have grown on me so much. But yeah this album is another one for the ages from our favorite sons. Seeing that Sapone post is def bittersweet tho.

 

I haven't really made a connection to drug abuse, but I absolutely get the vibe of someone refusing to come to terms with the awful parts of their self. Putting on a facade and how they get through life hurting their relationships and not realizing it's their own ways they can't shake that is hurting their life. At least that's my quick take.

Don't get me wrong....this album is really good, but...this album is actually very great.

 

It's actually very grrrreeeeeaaaaaaat.

 

Can we ask what state this was delivered to?

im guessing Out Of Mana is referring to the Buddhist take on Mana which would make sense. it could also be about prestige/power but idk. the game reference is funny though.
