When is the Chorus backyard bbq gathering happening? Wish we could create group threads on here. What a special community. What a special week. Truly an unforgettable time for me.

 

We should do something soon, organize a big festival gathering or something

 

Make it happen in Portland or Seattle. I need another reason to visit either of those.

 

After a long eight year wait is it just me or doesn't this still feel so surreal. From the rumblings through the grapevine of an annoucement on Tuesday to not only tour dates but a pre order of the album and the mayhem that unsued. And don't even get me started on Thursday wow what a day. I will never forget this week. Hard to believe I got some actual work done in between the total chaos.

 

I love you guys!



Dealing with some personal stuff this weekend, so I won't be able to listen to this record until Sunday night, but I promise I will post my thoughts after I hear it.

 

Yesterday was easily my least productive day in a quite a long time lol.

I hope to get some info on the limited vinyl soon, but I wouldn't be surprised if we don't know anything until someone receives a package

 

I've never used Apple music, what about it makes it better than Spotify? Spotify is fantastic and meets all my needs. Plus I don't have an Iphone. Anything is better than the $20 a month Tidal charges, however.

 

So I got paid today.

Got home and the first thing I did was go to the PMT website.

I now have a Vinyl and a CD on the way!

 

There were so many moments in the past five years or so where I wondered if my own impression of the band - this band that was SO important to me for SO long - might somehow be off, and that maybe I shouldn't put too much hope, or faith, in a new album.

Hahaha.

 

The rumor about fifth album being different than science fiction still cracks me up but i wont lie i cant help but wonder too im only human after all and will always welcome new brand new in my life lol forever and always

Haven't listened on my studio monitors but from what I can tell on my other speakers it's not any worse or better than anything else

A forumalative review had not even begun to apparate in my head yet, even after 5 playthroughs. I'm probably going to wait a long while to post thoughts, if only to avoid recency bias. Some folks here had better think loooong and hard about how long TDAG tided them over before saying Science Fiction is a better album, although this hype train IS truly enjoyable in the meantime.

 

I agree but do you really have a need for that?

Seems like a useless feature to begin with. Unless you bumpin' your homies mixtape or something
