The amount of discussions and wide variety of topics that have come up in this thread within 2 days is baffling. Along with the fact that Brand New sent their new album out in the mail.

Is there any word at all on what actually is different about this very limited edition to the standard that they're selling now? Would kind of like an idea on what £50 gets me.

    That guy looks familiar

BTBAM starts recording and Brand New drops a phenomenal new record yesterday, my wife goes into labor with Little Selkies number 2 today (still waiting at the hospital - the highlight off it all, to be honest) and my birthday is Sunday. It's been a crazy awesome few days.

Yeah, it's not really a big deal but I'd like to get excited about the difference considering the cash haha

being moved is one thing, being rammed into and bruised or worse is another. there's a way for people to have fun and move around in a pit and, like, not hurt those that want to?

they're seeing a band, not boxing. come on, how can you justify this

Fuck people who push others and don't take care of those around them tbh worst attitude at gigs.

    YOU AREN'T UNDERSTANDING ME.

I never said getting rammed into. I strictly said getting moved around. I'm not talking about a-holes who intentially hurt people. I'm not justifying hurting someone.

How do you not understand what I'm saying?

Sorry if I'm not getting my point across but I am absolutely not justifying people getting hurt at shows.

you're straight up saying people are liable to get hurt at shows. if it happens, so be it?

I have nothing to say that hasn't already been said, but I'm so happy this album just got placed in our lives. To wait this long for an album and have it be totally worth it is such an amazing feeling.

Yes, if you go to a show you are liable to get hurt.

Just like if you swim, eat food, get in a car, go skateboarding, etc.

You go to a show, you can get hurt. That's the truth of the matter. That's all I was saying.

I'm not saying X should be able to beat up Y at a show. I'm saying you go to a show knowing that you could get hurt. And no, this doesn't mean by a-holes. Accidents happen all the time so regardless of the crowd you could poetically get injured just like everything in life. You never know when an accident can happen.

Deja is a pehonemonal album with or without nostalgia, and it definitely still holds up. It's a damn near perfect album. It's of it's time for certain, but that's not a negative.

not to further derail, but when you have several people telling you youre wrong about something, no matter how right you think you are it never hurts to take a step back and consider that maybe you may in fact be wrong. a lil reflection never hurt anyone

I never have a lingering fear of getting hurt while im on my way to or just arriving at a show. Its terribly easy to pick a spot and enjoy and be safe. If you get 'hurt' unexpectedly you are lacking in the common sense department.

Same here. I don't have a fear of getting hurt at shows either.

This all started because someone was mad about Brand New fans and how they act during Deja songs when they don't even go that crazy compared to a lot of shows.
