Correct me if I am wrong but I believe that is because once you get into CFM and set your play schemes/coaching preferences, it changes their ratings. Play now mode doesn't take any of that into effect, I don't think.

 

That very well could be but I had a guy drop from 72 ovr to 57 so not sure even scheme would change it that much... I also may have done something wrong lol... Also guess it couldn't hurt to have a few people join and if it doesn't look right just delete the league and create a new one on release

 

What's the benefit of waiting? An updated roster?

 

I created one with ATL last night and didn't see much that was wrong or off. We only went through one season but still.

 

At this point idk what's going to be different on rosters. Nothing major at least.

 

I'd say wait for day 1's roster update. But at the same time, I'm more than okay to start it up today.

 

I'm cool with both! It would be pretty dope to get the admin stuff of the league out of the way (FA, having our rosters in front of us, depth charts, final 53, etc.)

 

that was my thought process behind starting now....getting all the preseason/startup tasks done so that when this is officially released next Friday, we can kick the damn thing off next weekend as opposed to probably the following weekend.

 

Agreed. I say start it up, make sure nothing is broken, and we can get it underway. You guys brought up a good point, may as well get the nagging stuff out of the way.

This league has sustained itself for years (at least the last few) without a full league, I don't see why anything would change here. If people want to find us/join, they will. That's my .02

I think there will be a lot of interest in leagues once the game comes out.
