  1. Guesses on songs with Jesse lyrics/songs with Vin lyrics?

    John Linitz @jlinitz

I feel like I'm getting (Nobody Moves) vibes on "Same Logic/Teeth" and I love it.

Something about the writing, such descriptive, eerie detail in a robbery / a patient performing surgery on themselves

This album reminds me of the new Manchester Orchestra in the sense that I couldn't imagine listening to single songs off of this record. This is a true album.

    Let it run Supporter

Even though I have song names I'm still going to refer to them as minute markers like we did for the first day

    Shut the FFFFFFRESHFISH UP

The hour-long track people got on those CDs yesterday.

But seriously, Desert, because of how relevant it is.

    Someone on fb lol:

    12 songs. 60 minutes (plus 1).

    12 divided by 60 = 5 albums.

    The plus one....they're not done?

I wasn't hoping we never got them and they became like the demos and people just made some up and then they became generally accepted only to be changed 10 years later.

    Let’s all go play Nagasaki

i like that this is probably a funny little reference to "Lets go outside and we'll play William Tell" using the idea of nursery games to describe instances of death

Ah, I see. That's still cool though! I've always wanted to visit Ohio to go to Cedar Point and King's Island.

Please do! Although I imagine people will hike up the prices a lot for this unfortunately.

Shoutout to Geoff Tate's guest vocals on Same Logic

I'm probably referencing something only I'll understand

    It's my mum's dodge caravan

Are you able to do that in 20 hours since knowing of an album's existence? And anyway, with music essentially available for free now, the purpose of reviews to decide whether to buy are not are redundant now. I write for a fairly big gaming website and know all too well that clicks and being 'first' is the norm, but for a strong and fair critical analysis of an album you need more than a day imo

Since Physical copies don't even ship until October I wonder if they want to wait to make that week have great sales since all pre-orders will count towards the sales the week they ship out (to my knowledge anyway)

But it's a fantastic album! Practically flawless to me

The lyrics on this album might be Jesse's best. I went through and listened to the album while reading the lyrics and the songs feel exponentially better now. Really impressive.

I cannot wait to scream the chorus to Can't Get It Out at Brixton in November, that and 451 will slay live.

The photo is from a photographer that they licensed from to use for the album.

Either both bands did that or the originally band stole the photo (someone in here said the original band stole the photo but not sure how accurate that is)

How about they just tour together next year instead?

    I would love that combination!

I'm seeing Incubus on Saturday, actually haha

  25. I like this album, particularly the music - it's very intricate. But at this point I would still listen to Deja, Devil and God and Daisy before this.
