Handcuffs is definitely their best closer but Noro is cool too

  6. Daisy is my favourite album from them (well, Deja gets the emotional connection part a tad more but I like Daisy more overall) so don't worry, you're not alone.

Daisy is fuckin raw, it's mean, its anxious, it's a little eclectic, its heavy, it's full of despair, it's not a fun record but it's a great record

It's unlimited pressing. Probably won't sell out and if it does they order another pretty quickly.

It's a long record. An hour on the G&T's will get you fizzing

Seriously, was 137 written in the last couple weeks? Dropped this right as it seems imminent for North Korea and Trump to kill us all with the bomb. The lyrics in that song are great, but hitting way to close to home right now.

Handcuffs is good but batter up is a much better approach to that style closer

I love love love Soco, and am not one of those that says it's because of nostalgia...that song is just a great song.

But Play Crack the Sky is better, IMO

Honestly one thing Brand New is really good at is starting and closing albums. All the album closers are great and could be argued to be the best in my opinion.

This is factual ^ No need to make any other rank.

I'll third the Twin Peaks vibes. Which is a very very good thing.

I read a few comments on Facebook of people who pre-ordered the vinyl the other day whose digital download 'was no longer available'...anyone else have this issue? I won't be able to download it to my computer until tomorrow and my anxiety/FOMO is already THROUGH. THE. ROOF.

That's why I like it so much. SF is so plain in comparison. Unpopular opinion but Vices is one of my favorite opening tracks ever, by any band

    Nope my download worked fine

  22. Love the way "Batter Up" seems to marry "Jesus" and "Soco Amaretto Lime," two of their most beloved songs

SF ain't plain at all it's just not throwing everything in your face in defiance. Just because it's more subdued and contemplative doesn't mean it isn't interesting as fuck, these songs have so many layers and little nuances and some really interesting songwriting choices that keep me on my toes
