This isn't LP5, this is a release of extra stuff(completed songs that didn't make the cut, older material) and they're just releasing it so everyone stops searching for the real album(they're super against leaks). That would come in like October

Reasons to think this:
No one at PMT has confirmed this is LP5 they just call it by the name of it(Science Fiction). It came on a bootleg cd with one song not presented as a typical format. They sent an email saying they were scraping what they finished last year because they didn't like it.

If you buy the CD for $10, you get the download for free. Not sure why anyone would pay $9 for just the download when you get both for a buck more.

Man, this is good. What a nice surprise today. I haven't really loved any of their albums since Deja, but this is indeed up there.

 

I really like the "At the bottom of the ocean" line on Same Logic/Teeth (track 5). It struck me as a Luca callback

I'm sorry what? People were jumping to the conclusion that the line was pro-homophobia...it's all written here, you can see it. And then the guy was an asshole about it and told me not to "waste my breath" when I talked about how we need to remember how to process art in general. I do not see what the issue is here. The guy backpedaled what he said as soon as he actually did the work to understand the context. It was a lazy first reaction that painted the band in a poor light, and somehow I'm the bad guy here.

 

Yeah, they're stretching it way too much. This is the album.

I actually had that thought. The whole "7 years " part after they play the clip from Daisy.

 

If you pre-order the CD as well? Or just the Vinyl? I'm trying to decide on whether or not just to purchase the CD or the T-Shirt atm.
