Idk I guess I wouldn't go into a thread for a band that people have been waiting years for and say oh it won't be very good. I mean it's okay not to like them but what's the point of coming in here to say that?

Yes...but a thing isn't beautiful because it lasts

That leaves a 1/4 chance you'll like this album, there's hype for you yet!

Nana Grizol, Julia Byrne, Brockhampton, Web of Sunsets and Charly Bliss are all in my top 10 of the year and relatively overlooked, if that helps to narrow it down some

Mine does, I edited it so Out Of Range is a hidden track...

I'll back the SZA, Kendrick, Future, Lorde, and Staples releases - all will probably make my top 30 somewhere

I'm surprised I'm not seeing more mention of people not being able to have grabbed a pre-order before the site went down. It's making me feel like I'm one of the only ones, but that can't be true :tear:

Smh yeah all the popular ones! Dig deeper!!!!!

I'm really just bitter barely anyone is talking about Nana Grizol and Web of Sunsets with me!

Out of Range makes me hope the album has b sides following it

Also, the album cover better just be a simple image (preferably a photo) to match the others [well, the reissue of YFW].

Forgot Thug too. There are some albums on that list I didn't like much but also quite a few I still have to check out

  19. That Vince Staples record is quickly becoming one of my favorites of the year--probably in my top 5

I have to go back to Big Fish Theory but man I was disappointed I didn't like that as much as I immediately liked summertime.

I don't think it's on the same level as Summertime either but it's a very different, very creative album. I actually need to listen to it more

My only hesitation with this band and this album in particular is the constant tinkering.
Or what I assume 8 years of working on an album would do to the songs.

It could be great or it could be IAAN.
Guess we will find out soon...I hope.

Yeah, don't think it's bad at all but summertime is the most impressive double album I've ever listened to, not a single wasted or bad track for me. I guess i let my own hype get the best of me, but I think I'd have received it differently had I listened to the Prima Donna EP more.

Meme and IAAN are two of their best songs imo.

Totally agree about Summertime, I only just discovered it at the beginning of this year and it blew me away
