I played them both recently and still really enjoyed them.

 

i will say this about sonic adventure 2, the emerald sections arent as bad as people make them out to be, mech sections are a nightmare though

So excited to finally play Undertale after hearing all of my favorite video game folks rave about it. (Out on ps4 now)

 

Actually finished a video game. Beat Hellblade tonight. Fucking excellent game, though not without some flaws.

 

Omgggg so far I've only gotten to Valravn but I've been just mind-blowingly impressed with everything about it. The enemy/boss art and character design is just... no words.

 

Also are you able to mention some flaws - minus any spoilers of course?

 

Yeah, Valravn's puzzles are my favorite in the game. All the boss fights are quite awesome, plus a long, epic string of fights against tons of enemies a little later toward the end.

 

Some of the puzzles are a little repetitive and it gets a bit boring at times; specifically looking for the symbols. Some of the later versions of the puzzle are a little more interesting, but given how slow Senua moves, it can be boring and I'd wish for some fights to break it up.

It was never anything major, just wish she could move a bit faster when in between fights. Minor quibble overall.

 

Has anyone played Journey lately? I didn't have a PS3 when it came out so I missed the initial hype for it, but the executive producer was on Kinda Funny Gamescast this week and the way they talked about it made me really interested in it. Is there still enough of a community for it to be worth playing?

 

I don't play Hearthstone anymore, but this is so satisfying.

Crackdown 3 delayed to 2018

Oh boy. It's probably for the best, but now Forza is their only big, in-house fall game, even though they are launching a console. That's pretty brutal.

 

That's a really bad sign and a massive hit for them

The industry is in enough of a slow death spiral without struggling platform holders, it's really nothing to be gleeful about. That being said, Microsoft is fine or course, but some anti-Xbox executives will be happy about this.

 

Crackdown 3 is gonna be bad ain't it?

I don't understand this mentality. I love all consoles equally and wish nothing but the best for them all.

 

Forza will be beautiful! On that same note, I'm not worried about Microsoft.

 

I just think it's ridiculous that they continue to bumble things, they should be better than that.
