God I'd definitely be part of this fundraiser campaign. Just to hear Tom singing "I was just a stupid kid back then, I take back every word that I said" and pretend it was meant to Mark and Travis about him quitting blink.

So now that the artwork is leaked, it doesn't seem like a single or album art....

 

I do have a question now truthfully:

With Tom leaving and Mark entering, which team am I supposed to be on? I Liked old blink 182, so I guess I liked Tom. I have not heard Alkaline Trio, so I don't know what to think of Matt, I guess.

 

I assume it's just some sort of promotional art to coincide with the release of the single.

 

It's the single art. There could be logos/album name above and below that they are hiding until Thursday.

 

You should be on the team that listens to Alkaline Trio.

im thinking it could be a tour poster, and the missing parts are the other bands/dates, which could get announced on the radio show

 

Since Mark is seemingly the one who would prefer blink sound closer to old blink, that doesn't make sense to me since Tom would make blink sound completely like Angels & Airwaves if he had his way. I remember Mark said they had to fight Tom to get "Love Is Dangerous" to have more of a rock sound.

Most of Chris Homles' credits come as an engineer, not someone who, like you said they needed, acted as an outside voice and guided the overall vision of the project like Jerry Finn, or in this case, Feldmann. The band has been way too insular since they got back together, so this is gonna be great.

Maybe they got a bunch of artists to do a piece based on the songs of the album. Which will make up the 'booklet'

 

This would be really cool actually and something I could totally see them doing. Especially since they have a specific poster for each tour date nowadays.
