Interesting. Especially 'cause I think we had more Scottish and Irish settlers down here than English. Not to mention the Spanish (and to a lesser extent French) influence.

I wish I actually had a southern accent and didn't just use the vernacular.

 

The ones in Simsbury & Southwick, MA still employ 13-16 year olds. Tons of people I know did it.

Is that really a Boston thing? I've never actually heard that, thought it was a myth. Granted I don't know tons of people actually from Boston, but I know a few.

 

People say I have a thick accent but they say it in a positive way.

Whenever I do a video in snapchat and I am talking that's when I sound the most country I reckon'!

Huh. I've always only heard billfold as a very outdated term for a masculine wallet. Clutch is something I have heard for a pocketbook albeit rarely

What town? I'm from Hillsborough. We luckily have a diner or I'd go crazy. I live about 10-15 from where Saves the Day grew up.

Am serious. Is also a purse, but a pocketbook is also an interchangeable term here. At least in my neck of the woods

Pocketbook is more like a wallet in my experience. Pocketbook, wallet, billfold, clutch... all things that go inside a purse.
