I love "Mene" and "I Am A Nightmare" so if those are any indications of LP5 - I am a thousand times even more stoked.

 

I need to return to Daisy, mostly haven't bothered with it since pretty shortly after release (like 8 years ago fuck I'm old)

 

Got one. Not really having any doubts that the music will be stellar, just hoping that between the package, potential variant and some extra goodies the $50 is worth it. Luckily I already had $35 in my PayPal account that I had been saving for a rainy day.

This whole thing is insane. I can't believe I just spent 50 bucks on an album I know nothing about, and also I can't believe that I am this excited about an album I know nothing about.

 

Yeah that "download available on June 5th at 12am" link had me confused, no instant downloads to be seen on my receipt though.

This. Daisy is my favorite album. Though I'm sure it won't sound anything like it, I hope it matches in quality.

 

i am guessing this as well. the "relevant media" has to be the digital DL of the whole album, and I am expecting it to drop or be emailed to us very randomly a lot sooner than the vinyl ships.

 

I feel especially solid about this considering everyone was upset that the album didn't release last year, but the band said they needed more time to properly finish it. I'm betting that extra time is worth it.

 

Conversation tonight with my wife who knows nothing about music:

"Bought Brand New's new album. It's their first in eight years." - Me
"Oh, cool. what's it called?"
"I don't know"
"Are there a lot of songs on it?"

What if the album is called Very Limited, and everyone thinks that means the vinyl release.
