“I think any fan of Blink-182 is going to be ecstatic when they hear the music. I really do,” said Lisa Worden, KROQ Music Director after previewing the album. “It sounds like Blink-182 but it sounds like Blink in 2016. Lyrically it’s clever.” Worden explained that of the songs she’s heard, it’s primarily Hoppus on vocals with Skiba adding harmonies. “As a fan of the band for the last 20 years, I was so happy with what I heard. It was the band I’ve loved all these years.”

I'm SO glad they realized they actually needed a real producer.

 

100%. I don't care what anyone says, the songs on the last 2 releases sound piss poor production wise.

 

No arguments here, with proper production those songs would have been alot better.

 

I understand not liking the engineering or mixing, but those that worked on it are definitely "real". I've long argued what they needed most was an outside voice to reign in certain members and be the bad guy to say "no" - which won't impact the *quality* of the sounds. Now the engineering and mixing and techniques Feldy uses is gonna compress the hell out of this and it's gonna sound more like what you're used to on the radio, but that's different.

 

I refuse to believe this.

 

It's obviously not factual.
