  1. Yeah, if you could replace that one for me that'd be great. I'm on windows, pinged it and got the following:

  2. Replaced. A hard refresh will make sure it shows up. Definitely looks better.

So can you view the forum on your windows machine right now? Because that means your computer is seeing it and the server is responding correctly.

  3. I get a time out error. I just restarted my browser and now it's fine - but I've done that before, along with my computer, and it hasn't. But I haven't pinged it then, so there may have been another issue

  4. Ok, if it happens again, quote me again and I'll take another look. It should definitely not be doing that and there's a few things I can check/test. (Unless your ISP thinks you're a spammer or something, haha. Cause I think there's an issue somewhere between the ISP and the server.)

this might be just me (and i know it's something i can tweak universally on my browser but the only sites i really use it on are reddit where i adjusted it with RES and AP/here where as of yet no option exists afaik) but is there some way to give the user the option to open links in forum posts/followed threads/the forum feed in a new tab rather than in the active tab?

Not sure what browser you are using, but on Chrome, you just right click and select "Open link in a new tab"

  8. External links should open in a new tab, do you mean like links to other threads and such? Shift click = new window, command click = new background tab, command + shift = new active tab, is the built in way to do it on most browsers I believe.

  9. Hm. Just happened again, restarted everything and nothing. Pinged it WHILE it was timing out and everything was normal. Also just realized this isn't exactly the thread for this feel free to quote me in the bug thread. Also, fwiw I use the same wifi on my phone so idk if it's my ISP. Oh also this might be useful, I go back to school on Sunday and will be on totally different wifi so we'll see if it happens there.

On the plus side, the mobile site is so good it's not a huge issue if I'm forced to use it.

ah you're right, external links are good, so just links to threads from forum feeds/followed threads/etc. i know using the scroll wheel works when i have an external mouse, mostly was asking for my laptop on which mouse navigation is a little clunkier. i think firefox on my android has a long-hold right-click command so that's taken care of there at least.

  11. Just realizing I haven't been updating on restarts. No clue if that would be relevant but I'm pushing them now

Hahahaha wow just noticed the highlight + reply function. That is fucking dope... basically you took the best part of medium and made it work for forum talk. Nice job!

This is definitely part of a broader thing that I know you are going to eventually address, but aside from the forums... will AP homepage still be the spot for news, or is chorus going to have a main news page where it's all migrated to? I still use AP equally for music news and forums both.

  19. You gotta be a supporter for all this info Steve!

Hah, I kid. I'll be talking about that more in the near future, but there's a homepage. ;-)

in my Followed Threads, is there any way to consolidate threads with unread posts up at the top? right now it looks like they automatically sort by last post time, which makes sense but i like how it worked on AP which iirc sorted them first by "has unread posts" vs "doesn't have unread posts" and then sorted the "doesn't have unread posts" by last post time.
