Didn't even realize he was trying to copy this. Makes him getting sent off seconds later even funnier.

Honestly after tonight I don’t really know why Bale is a starter for Madrid, both Isco and Asensio are so much more exciting.

I really hate Dele Alli. He's a fantastic footballer, I just wish he cut out the moaning, rolling around, fighting and just generally being a dickhead.

Matt Ritchie should have been sent off today too. Dirty tackle

Eriksen would be a much better purchase for Barca. Hope they sign Coutinho

Eriksen, Hazard, Coutinho, Dembele... slowly being linked with every left winger/midfielder of any class. Watch us sign Pulisic on a punt.

If he had to go, so did Kane. His tackle which broke our CB wasn't any less shit (well, he got the ball, but stills scythed him down from behind).

    So

I want to get into mens football/soccer. Specifically the EPL, la liga, and bundesliga. I figure I'll just follow along this season but...who should I root for? Is it more interesting to root for players or teams?

Oh and who is it cool to hate on? Just so I don't say something silly by accident.

Watch broadly for a season of each. See what teams play a style you enjoy. See what teams have players you grow to hate.

In the first post you can see most of our clubs we support so you can get an idea of how we're spread.

most of us hate casemiro and pepe

So probably not a good idea to try following all three at once? Makes sense. Thanks!

Oh yeah no. Most here focus EPL, and then dabble in La Liga and Bundesliga.

La Liga is my favorite league in the world.

  13. Kyle Walker moves to City. Kyle Walker-Peters MOTM.

Danny Rose turns heel. Ben Davies scores.

Dele Alli gets foot stomped. Scores goal.

Pretty satisfying result today despite not looking as in form as I'd like to see.

  14. Blackburn are going to be relegated again. It's shocking what is going to happen to a club with such rich history. Another shocker of a loss on Saturday to Doncaster. Not even close. Ugh.

While we've started really poorly it's not really that surprising to me, our teams changed a lot since last season. It's going to take a few games before they start to gel. I'm still optimistic that we'll improve and be fighting it out at the top come end of the season Watch me change tune in a few weeks

Saying all that it is shit what's happened to us thanks to Venky's being so shit at running a club.

    Sure. Shocking tackle.

I'd say just watch football for football at the start. Don't bother "choosing" a team, unless it's Manchester United :-p As you watch you'll gravitate towards one.

Following teams is far better than following players imo. Player X could be great on Team A but crap for Team B. There are players that are head and shoulders better than others but they're nothing without good teammates, a strong manager and a solid set up around them.

Watch a few games before you decide who to support. If you enjoy the sport, then you can still enjoy it as a neutral anyway. You'll get a feel for which teams and players you like and those you don't.

I've followed Chelsea since I was about 7 years old but I've always been someone who follows specific players and who has been interested in other teams. Arsenal are one of Chelsea's biggest rivals but at times they played the best football this country has ever seen and they were fascinating to watch, and I definitely rooted for them to go unbeaten that whole 03/04 season with no shame! Was livid when 'the cabbages' ruined their 50-0 streak, leaving them at 49 :crylaugh:

United since I was a kid. Generally don't like players once they join a rival. I can appreciate them, but don't like them.

Yeah, I agree with that. Klopp was my favourite non-United manager or player when he was at Dortmund. Soon as he moved to Liverpool, nope. Despise that entire team (apart from Adam Lallana for some reason..).

Sergi Roberto wants out of Barca lmao.

Oxo Cube apparently off to Chelsea. Would like us to have a go for him.

Azpilicueta also doesn't sound happy at all at Chelsea and their dealings. Wouldn't half mind sticking in a cheeky bid for him too.

Paulinho officially a Barca player €40m :crylaugh: :crylaugh: :crylaugh: :crylaugh: :crylaugh: :crylaugh: :crylaugh: :crylaugh: :crylaugh: :crylaugh:

Edit: Spurs sold him for €14 million and now he's worth circa €40 million? That seems very odd.

Hold on to Sergi Roberto Valverde he's too good looking to go to England they won't appreciate his hair

Must be some summer for Barca fans. Start the summer wanting Veratti, pushing for him then losing Neymar to PSG. Topping it all off is signing Paulinho for €40m!
