    The rivalry is back on

Scott Tolzien looks absolutely lost. Really hoping that Luck is back for week 1, or if not, the Colts recognize that and start Morris or sign a stopgap

Noticing a lot of game announcers on NFL Network saying "we" during games and it's irritating. They'll say "we picked him up" or "we expect big things from him this year".

Are announcers during pre-season people from the teams?

They sign Kap. Which would be hilarious because Indiana and Pence.

I'd be very curious to know how many injuries happen in college during week 1 compared to lead up to and including week 1 of NFL preseason. Seems like it gets worse and worse each year.

It can't be conditioning. Are they doing something significantly different in the NFL? Rookies / young players trying too hard to impress? Doesn't make sense.

Colts should sign RGIII. I don't care about the football. I just want something that funny going on the Colts' depth chart.

Still have no idea at all what the lions will be, they probably won't be terrible but also not great either

They overachieved last year but got better in a lot of ways. Stafford is very good. I have my doubts that they'll top 8 wins, though still think the potential is there, but I think it's ridiculous multiple outlets had them tied with the Bears for the bottom of the division.

I don't think the Lions will be good this year. I think they'll be just alright. I think they're capable of 6-10 or 7-9.

the lions are a very good team but the injuries to hyder (probably achilles and IR coming) and decker will make us look worse than we are

Yep, aside from the few national games, its all the local broadcast teams. Also, youll get people like Joe Theisman and Clinton Portis calling Redskins games, which doesnt happen during the season on TV.

The fact he got cut that quickly means Jason Licht is gone if their season turns sideways

Lions injuries will screw them. I was super excited going into this year, but with the injuries and the tough schedule, it's probably an 8-8 year

With the new CBA they changed how much offseason work teams get. So there's fewer OTAs, mini-camps,etc...and they cant have contact. And even training camp is limited I believe.

Probably a strong argument for longevity and concussion issues; but for players who dont take offseason training seriously, it can catch up to them early in camp.

Literally the exact two players I want to emerge this year. Who's next Myles Jack?

I shouldn't jinx us like that.

@AdarnSchefter Myles Jack's leg separated from his body in the shower after practice, Jags are optimistic he will make a recovery in time of the 2032 season.

If they finish with less than 7 wins, 100%

But blaming a gm for making a mistake in a kicker is silly when he's basically rebuilt the entire decimated roster to the point where people think they could be good now. He didn't even hire lovie, the glazers did. I could see it happening, just think it's dumb.
