Pretty sure I could count on one hand the members of the GOP who still have a spine against him.

Seriously though, the entire party should be against a president who won't condem domestic terrorism representing their party.

 

If this is what it takes fine. Shouldn't have taken this long since its been so obvious but if the party starts to actually disown him good. But I don't just want talk I want action. It's about fucking time.

I have to go back to staying off twitter - the comments are just so vile on everything. How anyone can look at that picture of that girl and say some of the shit they are saying just makes me realize there are some out there who just will never get it.

These people are always going to root for their team. And that's what it is. You have just as much chance as getting a Trump supporter to turn against him as you do a diehard Yankees fan to up and root for the Red Sox.

I don't mind discussing issues with conservatives or learning about their viewpoints - I went to college in Ohio and now live in NC, so I have had to interact with quite a few of them. To dismiss every person who is a Republican as a Trump supporting racist is wrong - but you can't have a conversation with someone who has the disgusting, racist views shown in VA today.

I disagree with 99.999999999% everything Ted Cruz stands for, but at least we agree on Neo-Nazis not having a place in America.

This has been such a shitty day and I keep going back to - we're 8 months into this. We are so very very fucked.

 

If these republicans are just taking off their hoods to make the (should be) obligatory statement condemning this and just put them back on next week to vote for policies that enable this shit they all need to be gone.

Call me incredibly jaded, but you just agree with Ted Cruz that we should say out loud that neo-Nazis have no place in America. Who knows what a lot of these white dudes think or say behind closed doors.

But I'm with you on even that tiny commonality with Cruz being strangely comforting on a day like today.

 

Also maybe I'm reading too much into this, but the "their" in this tweet seems decidedly vague to me, as if Mitch is playing the same "on all sides" bullshit game that Trump is:

I doubt he is because he's savvy enough to recognize how politically toxic that would be, but it seems to be strange wording nonetheless. Perhaps just a function of 140-character limitations though.
