I heard them open for somebody I don't remember like 2 years ago. That was 2 years ago tho I'm guessing they've released better material since then

 

I think their latest album is the best they've ever been

 

I can hear plenty of potential but they've never interested me very much.

 

I've only listened to Gates' last album but it's top notch and they were fun to watch live

I've seen them play it twice

 

This was my 5th time seeing them and I've never seen it until tonight. It was just very cool to hear that song because I wasn't sure if it was one they'd ever incorporate into their live sets.

 

I've seen them play it once back on their fall 2011 headliner. It was the last day of their tour, in Philly, as their early Halloween show, on my birthday. Great night

 

The entire Appendage EP is so awesome. I can't remember the last time I was that excited to get a pre-order for an EP haha.

 

It's a song that means a lot to me and was incredibly special to hear for that reason.

The entire show was wonderful, not that that should surprise anyone. Easily the best time I've had watching them, and I'll even say one of the best shows I've ever been to. Seeing them in a small room with no barricade and everyone losing their shit was just so special. I don't know. I love this band a lot and probably wouldn't be the same person I am today without them so I just feel really grateful. I had terrible anxiety all night and for the last week, but that hour and a half they were onstage was bliss.

 

Did they play the same set or throw anything special in?

 

It was the same set they've had on the other headlining dates.
