it's all about what you read and see. My dad was on the "they're just protesting the statue" and "when blacks come together they always flip cars and throw bricks threw windows".... and then i found a bunch of clips of KKK, white surpecemsist, and what the statue protest is reallllly all about and they changed their tune.

and yes dad is racist. mom's more confused (whole life being raised republican conservative religious but as of late common sense has seeped into her brain).

yea she's SUPER easy to talk to. We talk politics all the time. I'm VERY open to hearing everyone as long as they're resonable (this includes republicans). Like i can tell her about some guy putting up a confederate flag and her saying "ew".

All it takes is just like, listening to fox news, or getting the wrong information (this happens to liberals too obviously) and then some sort of nonsense flys out.
