Welcome back. It's been too long. Haha

 

Since I already went from VIII to VII, I guess I'm not playing them in any particular order. I think I'll make XIII my next big game, start it in a few weeks. I'm weird and usually don't like playing long story-driven games during the semester, hence all the time put into LoL, HS, and Duels.

 

Standard is what got me back in. I ran into Dr. Boom a few times in the last couple of days and was like oh yeah, that's why I quit. Just the frequency of annoying shit. Pretty much disenchanted everything GVG and Naxx. No regrets.

 

Yeah I get that, Persona 4 is consuming my life, gotta try to put it down before this weekend for Finals week.

 

Just won in SMITE arena 2-0. I got a 15/9/24 KDA with Artemis, and got the award for stunning at least 3 gods at once with my ult. It is the best match I've had so far.

The finale to TellTale's Michonne was great. Telltale continue to surprise me with new levels of brutality. TV Michonne is great but I prefer this version. The voice actress nails it.

Also finally got around to beating Dark Souls 2 (Scholar) tonight. Definitlely my least favorite of the souls/bloodborne series but still a really great game. Which surprised me because I heard a lot of negative. Really only one boss blew me away visually, Demon of Song was splendid, and the rest just kind felt like what you'd expect. Decided to ignore the DLC since I hadn't heard great things. fun fun...now for a break before DS3!!

 

King's Quest Episode 3 out today! Don't think many play it in here but for those that do, here's a reminder!

Today is awesome! New SMITE patch on consoles, TWD Michonne ep 3, and Hearthstone's new ex pack and formats!

 

Firewatch is on sale for $15.99 on PSN. Plan on grabbing it. Sony's website/store is truly AWFUL in browser. Can't checkout with PayPal, can't add a card...sigh

 

Firewatch was a great time, visually good looking, intriguing story, fun dialogue and good VA work.

Has it been patched? I forgot what the major complaint was at release, but I remember PS4 launch was not the greatest.

 

Oh my god. Boo at CB would be monstrous. I am all about this idea.

 

Apparently there was a patch that fixed the issues, I read there were some framerate and blurring issues? I dunno, wasn't aware until today but it seems to be fixed.

 

Rocket League Hoops is finally here! Time to get the music ready and hilariously fail at this mode.

Seriously though. I'm so shit at aerials, but it's still gonna be so fun.

 

Weird question: What 3DS games require an SD card to play?

I bought a 2DS with a broken SD slot on eBay for $30, which I use as a glorified DS. I know some games, like Pokemon and I think Smash Bros, require the "extra" storage of the SD card to even turn on, but the only game I really spend time on is Pokemon SoulSilver, so that doesn't really affect me. However, the new LEGO Avengers game looks awesome, and I want to possibly hit up Super Mario 3D Land and New Super Mario Bros 2 at some point. I'd rather not pay for repairs if I don't have to!

 

Rocket League Hoops is so much fun but it's difficult.

Firewatch was awesome.

Currently trying to platinum Marvel Lego and it's such a grind.
