How old was andy when that record was made, 19 or 20?

 

It was released when he was 18

 

he turned 20 just after they began recording i'm like a virgin

 

Wasn't it never actually released tho? Lol but still great writing for an 18 year old

 

Circulated then, I guess. The Brainstorm EP came after, and was released when Andy was 18.

 

He handed CD's out at shows, is my understanding.

 

We are watching the Manchester orchestra "podcast" from 2006 and it's hilarious... lol

Finally subbing to more threads. So in love with this band. Seeing them for the 7th time in Philly this October.

 

Only missing Bad Books 1, Thrice split, 5 stories and some older pressings of the LPs. Started collecting last year.

Not sure if this is the right place. But I have two Manchester shirts that are just a littleee too tight on me. They are smalls.

"Pale Black Eye" doesn't get nearly enough love.

 

so i've been listening to man orch a lot over the past few months for obvious reasons, and simple math is just so good. i think it's my second favorite by them, and it's the one i've been throwing on most lately.

 

For some reason, I don't like Simple Math as a whole as much as I do the previous two albums, but Pale Black Eye is incredible and Apprehension gets me emotional every time.

 

The new round of elimination has begun!

Would you guys be interested in doing double eliminations at the start so it doesn't take nearly two weeks to do a whole album?

Listened to the album again today and Where Have You Been is still definitely my least favourite.

Sorry guys, it's just never really clicked for me.

 

Where Have You Been is, or was my favorite Manchester Orchestra song... I kinda think every song on A Black Mile to the Surface is better than every other song they've done previously at this point. haha
