I was at the NYE show, but I hadn't listened to the leaked demos at the time so I was pretty indifferent when they played Nobody Moves. I am now well-acquainted with the demos and full of regret.

 

I remember they wanted people to Tweet at them with a hashtag for the "requests" set. I think I Tweeted that song to them every day from the time it was announced until the day of the show.

 

So after the show, you drove back to Ohio on New Year's Eve (technically New Year's Morning)? That's insanity.

 

I honestly couldn't think of a better way to bring in a new year than with Brand New.

 

I did that.

 

Not sure if that version of Soco can ever be topped.

 

Went to that show when I was 18. They played Soco Amaretto Lime just before midnight, repeating "You're just jealous cuz we're young and in love" for the last five minutes.

 

You know, I feel like you can tell how desperate we all are, when I can almost see some validity in all of this.

 

i am ashamed to admit that i have definitely examined their site's source code and looked up those coordinates before, but they were just an intersection in NYC and i was like "cool nothing here" and moved on with my life .....

i have too much free time at work while waiting for stuff to process idk

 

Shhhh. Don't tell anyone that I might've considered the plausibility of it for a few brief moments before I decided to come here and balk at it.

 

I live in NY, this store is about a 45 minuet subway ride. Hmm.

 

Impressive. I drove to Long Island in 2009 when Brand New/MO/Thrice/Glassjaw/KD played Nassau Coliseum. Show was on a Saturday...we left Friday at like 5 p.m. and there was no traffic or anything and got to LI by midnight or so...but the Sunday after was one of the worst drives of my life. It was the weekend after Thanksgiving and EVERYONE was on the roads traveling. Probably took us 17 hours to get home.

 

Why does Chorus have such a hard on for hating on reddit?

Yeah, as a reader of both the sub and the forum here, I've asked myself the same thing. The discussions are not that different. I mean, people here sure seem to hate r/brandnew for some reason and things very rarely get out of control there and the mods are pretty great at keeping it tight and organized.

 

I admire that the Reddit makes their own fun and tries to get creative.

10/10 would rather read about people looking for clues in source code than read another Album Title or Dragon Ball Z joke.

 

I'd much rather read another album title and hear hundreds of DBZ jokes before that
