Any rules against making multiple accounts so I can help Palm Reader?

  11. Palm Reader - this is clearly a better song than the rush job that IDLWIWT is, even just due to the verses in PR, with those intertwining guitar and bass lines. But I get it, the other one is catchier
Stained Glass Ceilings - this song fires on all cylinders and is so different for them
Cardinals - what a way to open a record, emotionally draining in the best way
The Bluest Things On Earth - I know that Cigarettes and Saints is the better song, but every time I hear the opening chords to this one, I get such a rush like I want to break out into a mosh pit sing along right where I'm standing. I have to let this song get a couple votes

Palm Reader and Patsy Cline are probably my two least favorites on the album besides the closer

By the reaction of the crowd on the last tour, at least to me it seemed like people weren't into Palm Reader. Glad to see it getting some love though!

@Mister Lyrical So for that Soupy episode of Resume, the only way to get to it now is to sign up for a PodcastOne trial and download it. Not sure if that podcast just joined this network, but it's behind a paywall. Looks like the trial doesn't force you to put in any payment info. Here's the link: PodcastOne: Premium Promotion - Registration

"Palm Reader" vs "I Don't Like Who I Was Then" - I really like both these songs. Going with the latter because I miss when TWY had a sense of humour in the songs and this is the closest this album gets to that, one of the least dark songs on a dark as fuck album. also think the lyric (Put my past self in the ground/I've been dancing on the grave) is great.

"You In January" vs "Stained Glass Ceilings"

"A Song For Patsy Cline" vs "Cardinals"

"The Bluest Things On Earth" vs "Cigarettes & Saints" - C&S is probably the better song when it comes down to it, but I love The Bluest Things so I'm going for that just out of moral support for it.

We reach for the longest shadow

listening to NCTH for the first time in a while: how did the mix of this album get through? this album could be great if it was mixed halfway decent, but it isnt anything more than good because of how muddy it sounds.

I stand by I Don't Like Who I Was Then being the second or third best song on the record.

I still love the album, but the mix bothers me especially in Cardinals. I know the words but I can hardly make out the lyrics in the first quiet part. After "Brothers &" the levels drop so much. It's very frustrating.
