Those are some strange hours! Maybe not start so early? I know I missed just one round during Happiness Is and I am on here all day lol.

 

I generally try not to, but it gets to a point when almost everyone has voted. Best case I could have let the match run a couple more hours until 12-1PM

 

Yeah I was going to throw my vote in at lunch

 

Good rule of thumb, if the songs I voted for aren't winning then always keep it open until it does.

It's my pleasure, I enjoyed the blink one, and this one is just as fun (and is generating more actual discussion then the blink one did)

 

I don't think they all need to be as long but I guess it'd be a good idea to make sure they cover sufficient daylight. Then again I'm really impatient

 

I usually try to keep them open for 10-24 hours, depending on if the number of votes in is around our average (22-26) and how close they are (if every match has a 10 point gap there's no point in making it suffer any longer lol)

These matchups were brutal. I don't love a lot of New Again, but would have chosen Didn't See that Coming or Cut Me Up Jenny or Summer, Man vs other matchups. Most of the songs I like from this album have been matched up against each other.

 

I always forget about Brooklyn. great song.

These are my four favourite songs on the album. It might get hard to vote from here on out!

 

Again, another case of "how did this song not make the album but that one did?" These guys are pros at that.

 

Since Where My Mouth Is is getting trounced right now, just wanna say it's a great song

 

Yeah, totally. I would love to have that one on the album instead of "Up Against" or "I'll let You Live".

 

I don't mind "I'll Let You Live" although it's hands down their weakest closer. I'd swap out "Up Against" for "Brooklyn" and swap out "20/20" or "Divine Intervention" for "Sleep"

 

I LOVE I'll let you live. I honestly don't understand the hate for it.

 

does it get that much hate? I don't HATE the song, I just definitely do not prefer it and would have enjoyed some B-Sides in its place.

 

I would love it if TBS pulled out some b-sides or deep(er) cuts. I love seeing them but their setlists, similar to my issue with bayside, just get too predictable at a certain point. I'll admit I was surprised as hell to get Spin when I saw them, but I seem to always guess their setlists almost to a point. They have SO many great songs in their catalog that get no live love. Even if they re-worked some older songs that maybe theyre just not proud of, idk.

 

They always play Spin for the first few shows and then drop it by the time I see them and I always get so bummed

 

I'm somehow just now listening to Live From Orensanz for the first time and damn is this awesome.
