I think it's best on paper, but kinda getting that impression too. Reckon he'll stick with it mind.

What do you think would suit us better?

Why does Herrera still shoot from distance :crylaugh:

Think 4-3-3 is best on paper and for our players. Same midfield, move Miki closer to them, Lingard further up and wide and Valencia/Darmian to normal full backs. Pull Matić and Herrera in line and let Pogba go a little further forward centrally.

We don't have the quality for wing backs, and Miki is not a forward.

    ---------Lukaku---------
    Mhki----Mata----Pogba
    ----Herrera-Matic------

With the front four having a lot of freedom, no idea on defense, would be my best thought for United. Rashford/Lingard can slot into those front roles nicely if injuries force a shift of the first four in any way.

Love United fans. Tearing Linedlöf apart for playing Casemiro offside.

I was under the impression we were playing 4-3-3 tonight to be honest, though the full backs have been pushed up and the wide forwards dropping back to pack the midfield and isolating Lukaku at the same time.

It has looked rather 3-6-1 at times :crylaugh:

It's a 3-5-2? Darmian, Linedlöf and Smalling at centre back. Miki and Lukaku up top. That's what it seems to me.

Pogba cost more than Modric, Isco, Kroos, and Casemiro combined. That's the best way to explain how the market has changed in the last few years.

United's starting XI cost almost double Madrid's.

Beyond me how Rashford didn't start.

Nah it won't. We'll be a stronger team than last year. Not every week we'll come up against the best team in Europe.

Wasn't that the pound mark he cost?

Whatever to be said about Lingard, we really need an upgrade on Mkhitaryan. Useless when he's not on his game.

Spain's midfield pool is just downright absurd.

Nah 75. Bonuses up to 90 apparently but they haven't been paid. Everton took Rooney so that was priceless. -253m net spend.

Chelsea letting Matic go is so baffling watching this game.

Must be the euro number with bonuses.
