But you let out Welcome Home Armageddon....which is up there with Casually and Conduit.

 

Welcome Home never really clicked with me, maybe I should revisit it.

 

I feel like that album and Conduct are pretty similar in sound (loved that streak they were on with those two in a row) so you should! I think Welcome has some of their best work TBH.

 

How It Feels to Be Something On is not only Sunny Day Real Estate's best album, but one of the best albums of the nineties. It's basically perfect through and through. Why it gets overlooked for something like Diary is beyond me.

I mean based on solo stuff I guess I can't speak to that but Separation Sunday and Boys & Girls are definitely two of like top 5 rock records of this century

All of Finn's work is just super inconsistent. They've got some phenomenal tracks on every record and some tracks that just don't work.

Also, if we call them rock, The National is the greatest rock band in the world considering they are the greatest band in the world. Fight me IRL.

 

Counterparts are way better than The National tho.

 

I haven't heard them but the only thing more surprising than Pure Noise putting out a good band would be Pure Noise putting out the best band.
