Sunderland losing already. Reckon they might go down this season.

 

Hope so.

 

I've been saying it all summer to my mates, but this last week has reinforced it. While club is rotten, top to bottom. Better teams than Sunderland have been relegated from that division, and there's not really any stand out weak teams that you would nail on to go down this year (minus maybe some of the promoted teams from League 1 and a couple of others).

 

If Twitter rumors are correct, Barca announcing Inigo Martinez and Ousmane Dembele tomorrow. With Coutinho and a secret midfielder to be announced late next week. Mostly interested in who the midfielder would be, tbh. The other two have been linked for awhile now so they're not as surprising and Inigo is all but done.

Was surprised how well Sunderland played against Derby. Should have won the game and the opener was totally against the run of play. Not going to complain about two rivals both dropping points.

The highlight of the night had to be the Millwall fan who ran on to the pitch at Forest when they scored, only for the goal to be ruled out a few seconds later.

@ Celtic fans if you had to lose domestically would you rather it be early in the season or later? I'd rather lose early. Less likely to send the season off the rails.

i'd rather stay unbeaten for the entirety of rodgers' reign, which is absolutely a possibility, but if it has to happen then yeah, early and to some team with as little amount of huns as possible

Please, no.

 

If Dembele and Coutinho cost as much as rumored, I highly doubt we afford Dele, too. Though, we've offloaded a few other players early this summer so there might be some wiggle room.

Neymar will buy us Martinez, Dembele, and Coutinho alone.

 

I highly doubt Levy/Poch would sell him at this point anyways.
