Okay if we are including those EP's that made an unofficial album, three and one that was really damn good :P

Love those songs, I would really like to have seen Spinning Over the Island and Aftertaste too.

I have a feeling Front Row Seats would make a great set opener.

    Well, I mean... it's Deftones.

    Others:
Faith No More for both their insanely high quality and the most ridiculous level of diversity and eclecticism.

    Tool for genuine perfection.

    Björk because Björk.

    Yo @Jason Tate

I used to ask this same question a lot when I worked in the food service industry back in college.

It was a great way to kill time.

Question #1: If a band is still actively making music while you are on the island, do you get the new music added to the discography? I always thought that made sense and it definitely influenced my choices.

Question #2: If a current solo artist was previously part of a band and you select the solo artist or the band, do you get the other "act's" material or do you only get the releases assigned to the specific act that you choose. I.E. If you say Andrew McMahon, does that mean you get all of SoCo's work too?

    Anyway, my selections are below.

    - My Morning Jacket
    - Spoon
    - Conor Oberst
    - Built to Spill
    - Red Hot ChilI Peppers

For me id probably go with the Foo Fighters. Ticks all the boxes: sizable, quality, enough variety

    Othe contenders would be:
    Bruce Springsteen
    Thrice
Replacements (im not sure i could live without them
