It's gonna be very miserable, and idk how much of TBS I'll actually stay for... but there's no way I'm missing ETID and AGO

I'm doing the opposite most likely. I'll probably show up as close to Taking Back Sunday as possible. I'd love to see AGO and ETID, but won't sit through 3 and half hours of that heat. This will probably be the hottest show I've ever been to surpassing the time Gaslight played the Hawthorne in the summer.

I remember that Gaslight show. I remember being really bummed because it sold out before I could get a ticket.... but then being grateful once I started hearing about the room

Yeah they oversold that show too. The crowd hardly moved and the floor was full of sweat. Never been so hot in my life. Gaslight was great, but the heat definitely ruined the show in many ways. This will definitely be a show where I chill in the back.

I was at that Gaslight show, it was gross, but I think Saosin at the Hawthorne was the hottest/nastiest one I've been to. So humid that sweat was dripping from the ceiling.

I plan on parking myself in front of a fan at the TBS show tomorrow, if everyone else isn't already crowded around it. I almost decided to skip the show because of the heat, since I was at Green Day tonight and will be at Circa Survive on Friday, but I know I get FOMO when I don't go.

Ah FOMO is the damn worst and the reason why I can never pass on concerts.

Whoever goes to this concert tonight, please make sure to put together an All Get Out setlist for me because I'm dying to find out what they're gonna end up playing! I mean, I'm sure it won't divert much from what they usually play, but still! I am so excited to have them playing on this tour.

If either of you get there earlier than 7:30, can you post in here what the temperature is like in the room? I'm planning on grabbing an Uber to get me there right before 7:30, but would like to know just how uncomfortable (or not) it is. I've seen shows at the Hawthorne when it was this hot and as long as the fans are going I remember it not being that bad (as long as you stay in the back).

For sure! I actually had a ticket for Circa but decided to sell it and go to this, but now I'm using a friend's +1. Tbh, I might try and bounce back and forth if I can, if only to see TMP, if the times line up.

The Crystal has rented out the parking lot behind them and is pumping in AC through generators, specifically for tonight's show. I've already been inside the Crystal today and can confirm that it's incredibly pleasant inside the Ballroom.

In case you're wondering who I am, I'm an old absolutepunker who still lurks here once in a while. I just thought now was a good time to set up an account because I'd hate for any of you to skip the openers just because you think it's going to be too hot.

Haha I was walking by to get to Sizzle Pie and saw all the tubes. Crazy, I love Crystal so much and this just proves it's the best venue

That's awesome. I hope this doesn't sell out. I still haven't bought a ticket yet.

Hey if you could let me know if this is sold out or not it would be greatly appreciated. Might head down for ETID.

Just got in and they were selling tickets for $31 at the door. Also it's very comfortable here at the barricade

I don't know what the first song was but it was definitely not from NLAQ. Here's the rest:

Thought this was going to sell out and I'd be SOL. Line took quite awhile to get in, but glad I was able to get a ticket. Definitely surprised at how well this sold.

Seriously. Didn't know TBS drew like this.

Last time saw them was here during the TAYF tour and that sold based on nostalgia. With how bad the Take Chaos tour sold in Eugene last summer I expected this to draw poorly. ETID is getting a much bigger response that I anticipated, I think they helped with this tour drawing so well.

TBS has always done really well here in Cleveland. Until last year. Taste of Chaos didn't sell well and the small club tour didn't sell out until the night of the show. Which surprised me. But they tour SO MUCH and they play pretty lengthy tours almost every time. There hasn't been a year in the last 6 (?) they haven't played Cleveland.

For this show here it ended up on the vouchers, which makes me believe it didn't sell a ton before those went live. I expect it to be pretty close to capicty. I'm sure ETID isn't hurting attendance either.

Great show tonight. TBS sounded amazing and the Crystal did a great job at keeping it bearable in the venue.
