Plans is not a very bad record but it also really very not good

 

Plans is in the upper end of their albums imo. I used to think it was their best or second best, and I'm sure there's still a fair bit of nostalgia attached since it was my first Death Cab album. Still, I think it's got some of their best melodies on there, and the pop aspect of it is great in how understated it can be. That album really only suffers for me in the lyrics -- some of them are a little less hard hitting because they're a little more vague / general compared to Facts, Transatlanticism, or the Photo Album. Even then, love a lot of the imagery going on. Crooked Teeth is a stand out for me

Charmer > Spin = Tigers Jaw >>>> Two Worlds

 

Two Worlds is way better than self titled, probably as good as Spin though I still need time with that one.

 

I vehemently disagree (and I'm pretty glad that they seem to judging by their setlists aha), but I do know quite a few people on the forums think that.

 

Tigers Jaw > Charmer = Still > Two Worlds

Two Worlds isn't bad but it's their worst. Spirit Desire is one of my favorite EPs - good stuff.

I like Two Worlds more each time I listen to it, S/T has the classics tho.There's also a lot of hidden gems on their EPs and splits

 

The Sun is still one of their best songs but it's still their weakest album barring belongs to the dead imo. I love self titled, but they get better and better for me. Also yessss, fake death and my friend Morrissey/Haze coffin are so good and obvs so is spirit desire

I felt that way for a while, but IV is really really good.

 

I might not have given II enough of a chance, but I never got too into it
