Failed catching Lugia as well today. :(

 

I'm at 4 failed Lugia raids so far

 

Did my first Articuno raid today (the last day!) and caught it with my first throw. Feeling blessed.

got both Lugia & Articuno yesterday - hoping to get out tonight or tomorrow to find some Moltres raids, but my work schedule and the fact that raids seem to stop spawning around 7pm leaves just the weekends.

 

It's so ridiculous that they end at 7pm, I have the same problem. I usually get home from work right around 7, and can't really leave during the work day haha

 

Gonna be missing out on Articuno unfortunately. They won't keep it out of the game forever hopefully

 

I caught Moltres the first raid I did. I'm 3/3 on legendary Pokémon in catching them the first raid I finish.

I caught lugia first ball first raid, articuno evaded me once but i snagged it after another 8 or 9 balls the 2nd try.

 

I've decided my Slack group does not have the drive to get these and I have to take a day off and go to Albany and hit a Lugia raid if I am to get one before the dogs and Ho-Oh.

 

Has there been any mention of the dogs? I cant imagine theyd put all the legendaries out at once. After the birds are all done i think itll be a while before the dogs or mew/mewtwo. I cant wait for mewtwo.

 

I'm still upset about my 15/15 Articuno experience and all these success stories are the objective worst.

I've also yet to see a single Lugia raid.

 

There is almost a 100% chance of me not getting Zapdos the first try since I said that, but the game has blessed me with legendaries so far.

 

Moltres is pretty easy to take down. Although I totally failed at trying to catch him. Completely missed with like 5 balls :(

 

Yeah he's easy to beat but hard to catch. I've caught 2 out of 9 tries today so far.

 

NINE tries in a day? Whoa lol I'll be lucky if I can find anyone doing a raid at all

 

I decided to do another Moltres raid (to get rare candies) and I got him again and with the first throw lol I'm 2/2 on Moltres

 

Moltres should actually be a good bit easier than Articuno to catch, assuming you have a gold medal in fire and flying types (this increases the likelihood of it staying in the ball). Also have seen a lot of reports that it can be taken down with as little as five people.

 

Got Moltres on first try, certainly feels easier than Articuno

 

Is the circle small for Moltres?

 

I've still never tried a raid but what happens when you're done with the raid? Do you win that Pokémon that you're fighting, or do you just find it like it's in the wild and try to catch it?

 

Essentially you fight a "boss" pokemon in a raid with up to 19 other people. If you can collectively beat the boss, then everyone gets an automatic chance to catch the boss, using Raid Balls. The amount of balls you get to use depends on many factors.

 

There's actually a pretty good community where I live.
