The R rating helps a lot too.

I can't wait to see how they do the bullies. Especially Patrick.

The short clip of him in the trailer looking terrified has me really excited for leeches

I find my mind wandering more with audiobooks. I should try again. I could listen to Weber read IT.

edit: Just got the audio book. Will probably go between reading and listening and hopefully wrap it up before the movie.

    "I'll chew on a dog!"

There is a LOT of story to tell so the 2+ hour runtime makes sense.

What I am most curious about is how they end this, since it will surely lead to the adult portion of the novel.

Has the follow-up been confirmed? I feel as though a sequel is only dependent on the financial success of this.

Not sure what you mean by not very good quality? The audible one with Steven Weber sounds fine and I really enjoy his reading of it, but it does have a couple issues. I remember there were several times where a sentence kind of abruptly cut off and things like that. I'd never read it before so I can't really say but there's a few reviews on it that say there's a part of chapter 5 that it skips over.

The novel is over 1000 pages spanning many years...They initially were going to have it be two separate films.

Yeah, I would have been shocked if it was UNDER 2 hours

I'm just still pissed Fukunaga is not directing. I'm not going to miss this, but haven't been following the project as much as when it was first announced. Still interested nonetheless.

Well even with that, still dig that long runtime.

    and a millions screams...

When that was announced and it was announced that Affleck was going to direct The Stand... that was a very good time to be a King fan. Still is, but man...
