We're now in the back half of Summer and I haven't given Where You Want To Be a spin yet. I better get on that.

 

I Am Fred Astaire is on of my fav songs on WYWTB at this point, I used to skip it all the time when I was younger though. Also get outta here with that Miami hate. In all seriousness, if I were to replace any song with Brooklyn it'd be Twenty Twenty Surgery. Its the most boring song on the record. It makes no sense to me that it didn't make the cut for the record.

 

They just had to make sure that incredible outro was on the album.

 

Agreed. Miami is probably my favorite song on Louder Now largely because of the outro.

 

I'd personally have left Twenty-Twenty Surgery off of Louder Now in favor of Brooklyn. Either way, Brooklyn should've been on that damn record haha

 

Yeah there are a few tracks on there I could have said in fairness. Miami is the first that sprang to mind as its chorus bores me to death.

 

So, from May-June I ran an NCAA style bracket battle of songs on the Blink-182 thread and it seemed to go over well with the majority of users on that thread. And someone has taken my idea and ran with it on the Wonder Years thread and it's doing well there too. TBS is my second favorite band and I've always wanted to do one for TBS, but this thread seems slow. Curious though, is there enough users/lurkers here interested in doing it?

Basically how it works is we do each album at a time, the songs from that album get randomly generated in a bracket to face off. Voting happens each day with the winners moving on to the next round until only 1 song stands. Then we do the next album, and so on until all the winners from each album face off in a finale. Sound good to anyone here??

 

i adore miamis chorus. If I had to drop a song for Brooklyn it'd be divine intervention.

Do you know how massive of a bracket that is going to be?! Lol plus probably would take almost as long because I'd have to break up the voting even more to keep up with counting

 

Neither of them are that special imo

 

The only album i won't do is TAYF because That's the only record that does nothing for me. But hey...we can all still be friends right?
