raw catchup thoughts:

I can sorta understand dropping "The Drifter" but going to just "Elias" is dumb. "Hello my name is Elias and I have a question for all of you. Who wants to walk with Eilas?" just sounds lazy. The "Who wants to walk with Eilas" bit is good, so probably just need to change up the intro. Or just realize there is nothing wrong with Eilas Sampson.

Its amazing how good of a job the Randy/Bray feud did at utterly burying Bray's character. Literally don't give a shit about him anymore whereas his segments used to be one of my favorite parts. The Finn bit was somewhat interesting -- they should really lean more into the whole "Bray being fascinated/excited about the metaphysical aspects of Finn's demon persona" thing. But we only got like 5% that 70% Bray doing a long winded promo 25% Bray getting beat up. Was dumb.

I just can't get behind Jason Jordan. Sorry. Miz is still good.

This whole Jason Jordan thing just isn't going to go anywhere unless it's morphed into a heel type scenario. I know it seems like I say that about everything, but he won't ever get over if it continues like this. And as mentioned he is atrocious on the mic. Him and Miz were at two opposite ends of the world.

Bray Wyatt desperately needs a new gimmick. This is dead in the water.

 

There is no chemistry whatsoever in the Raw womens division.

I forgot raw was on last night until about 10:30. 2 weeks away from SummerSlam and neither show feels like its building up to anything.

 

I'd disagree about the build - I think we are gonna get a good card for the most part. I'm not thrilled with either women's title matches but the fatal four way for the Universal will be great especially with the new wrinkle added in with Brock leaving if he loses. The SDL title could be a lot of fun especially if it's a triple threat between Nak, Jinder, and Cena with Corbin cashing in looming in the background. Love what they are doing with the Hardy's and Revival while Dean and Seth starting up against Shesaro will be really good.
